Delete your account
You can delete your Kol Emunah account yourself, at any time, from the app or from this website. Nothing is held back and nobody has to approve it.
In the Kol Emunah app
Open More, tap your name to open Settings, then Delete account and confirm. The account is gone immediately.
On kolemunah.com
Sign in, go to Settings, then Delete account and confirm.
By email
If you cannot sign in, write to joel@jlprograms.com from the address the account was made with, and ask for it to be deleted. Allow a few days for a person to get to it.
What is deleted
Everything attached to the account: the login itself and its email address, your display name, your bookmarks, and the record of where you stopped listening. It is deleted from the database, not hidden — there is no restore.
What is kept
If you sent a story, a question or feedback through the app, the message stays with the team, with your name detached from it. It is treated as an anonymous message from that point on. Nothing else survives the deletion, and no backup copy is kept beyond the routine database backups, which age out on their own.
